Michal Nachmany is a self-taught mixed-media and collage artist whose work has been featured in solo exhibitions across the United States, Taiwan, and Poland. In addition to her artistic practice, she is an experienced educator, teaching both modern and liturgical Hebrew at rabbinical schools, synagogues, and cultural institutions. Born and raised in Jerusalem, Nachmany draws deep inspiration from the city’s layered history and vibrant tapestry of cultures. Its people, architecture, textures, colors, and sounds are all woven into the fabric of her work, which often explores how the past informs and shapes the present.​​
